Painting elephants
This is absolutely amazing. Does it change the way you think about animals and humans? Knowing that we are not the only species who can see the world, and paint it? There are massive implications from this, I think. ( Hat tip u75)
I so want this to be real, not a clever trick.

That, is, amazing.
I couldn't get over how deliberate and intentional the strokes were at first, but the finished product was incredible.

Amazing, I'd love to own one of those paintings and to actually go to see it being painted. I love the way people casually stroll by, as if a painting elephant is the most ordinary thing in the world!
This is truly a gift for us humans.I love the colors the elephants use, and to know that we aren't the only species to enjoy the colors of life
this isn't a joke. Some cats paint. But they are more expressionistic than this elephant.
I was fascinated by this when I first saw it, too. It's real, I think, but I'm pretty sure the elephants are taught to paint these pictures, that they aren't painting freely. Not that that diminishes it, because elephants are extremely intelligent, but I guess I'd rather see them paint freehand. I wonder how they're trained.
